As a customer or provider, you can access available funding through NYSERDA’s On-site Energy Manager (OsEM) program for your qualified affordable multifamily building clients. The program covers up to 100% of eligible costs.
Multifamily buildings that hire a dedicated on-site energy manager experience lower operational costs, reduce maintenance time, and create comfortable common areas.
Eligibility Details
For affordable housing, at least 25% of residential units are, or are expected to be, occupied by households earning not more than 80% of the area or State median income, whichever is higher.
Must not have an existing dedicated full-time energy manager on-site.
Show a desire to continue the energy manager role beyond the pilot engagement period.
Share results and lessons learned about the impact of the energy manager with NYSERDA.
Multifamily buildings or portfolios that contribute to the electric System Benefits Charge (SBC). Limited funding is available for affordable buildings that do not pay into the SBC.
